LadyDrinks Houston: Meet Divya Visentini, Managing Director, Accenture
While Divya’s background and education is in the sciences, she’s firmly been in the marketing and technology space since the mid-90s. She has orchestrated national and global programs and campaigns for brands like Shell, Chevron, Continental Airlines, Bausch + Lomb, and Red Bull. To name a few.
What Divya loved about her job is that she created the road map for growth and innovation. Given the nature of consulting, she didn’t stick around for the execution. And that left her feeling unsatisfied. She decided to feed the entrepreneurial bug and start her own consultancy, pairing mid-market clients with the right delivery and technology partners. When Accenture came knocking, she answered the door. Today, she is at the consultancy as an Interactive & Digital Transformation Lead for North America.
Divya holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry (Bangalore University, India), an MBA in Corporate Finance & Strategy (Hull University, UK), and another MBA in Marketing (University of Houston).
She is a mother to a 14-year-old boy and a Shih Tzu named Peanut. A cricket and soccer enthusiast, she is a die-hard supporter of Arsenal Football Club.
